Terry Towels
These are your traditional real nappies. They are just a square piece of cloth that is folded into the nappy. This is then secured with a nappy pin or the modern alternative nappy nippa/snappi. These come in different materials such as cotton, bamboo and hemp. A waterproof wrap is then needed over the top.

Shaped Nappies
Shaped nappies or they are sometimes known as 2 part nappies. These are shaped into a nappy and some are then fastened with a Nippa or some have Velcro. A waterproof wrap is then needed on top of these to make them leak proof. A lot of people prefer this type of nappy for nighttime or with heavy wetters.
